We Give To See Lives Changed!
Every gift given at New Life is a step of faith, declaring that God will transform lives in Roanoke and beyond! In short, we give because God gave. Moreover, He continues to give, and we know that we can never "out give" God.
If you'd like to financially support the Kingdom work going on at New Life, there are three easy, safe, and secure ways to give:
Giving FAQs
We believe giving to the local church is an essential part in the life and spiritual maturity of every believer. Fortunately, God has a lot to say about this in the Bible. We see examples of other Christians giving of their finances to the church (Acts 4:32-35; 1 Cor. 16:1-2). We’re taught that giving is part of our worship (2 Cor. 8:3-5). God says He loves a cheerful giver (2 Cor. 9:6-7). And, most importantly, Jesus said your giving is a reflection of your heart and the things you value (Mt. 6:19-21).
A lot! Of course, your financial partnership with New Life Church allows us to host weekly worship gatherings, pay facility upkeep, and provide ministry resources for the people of our city. As a church, we’re committed to using the funds we receive to make a difference in our hometown (Roanoke) but also around the world for Jesus Christ and His Kingdom mission: Reaching the Lost.
For over a decade now, we’ve supported the work of two different missions projects in both Uganda and Ukraine. We have funded the purchase of land, building of churches, sending supplies, volunteers, and even funded a full-time missionary to the Uganda Project.
Additionally, right here in Roanoke, we are currently funding a “Hope Center” that focuses on helping those caught up in addiction. This plans to open as soon as property is acquired. Beyond this, we have a local mission that is about to begin to help in a similar way as the Salvation Army does.
It depends. At New Life, we believe in“holding nothing back”because God has not held anything back from us. That means, while we do believe in Tithing, we’re more concerned with giving God our “first” and “best” than we are about giving a certain percentage. We encourage our people to strive for generosity in their giving, so a great question to consider is: What is the most generous thing I can give?
